Courtney L. Krebsbach Obituary - 2023 (2024)

A beautiful angel gained her wings on September 14th. Courtney Lee Krebsbach died unexpectedly while driving the car she was so proud to purchase. Courtney was born on August 10, 2007, to Todd Krebsbach and Kelly Kienbaum.

Courtney was beautiful inside and out. She had the brightest and most contagious smile and could light up a room with it. She would go out of her way to volunteer her time and help others whenever she could. Courtney was a strong student and was involved in many things throughout her school years. I think her proudest moments are on the softball field with her amazing coaches and teammates. She joined FFA and even talked us into raising chickens. She was so proud of collecting eggs and showing us the fruits of her labors. She enjoyed spending time with friends and her boyfriend (Spencer Wagner). Courtney worked for Scoops Ice Cream House, Roepke’s Village Inn, and Gary’s Landscaping.

Courtney is survived by her parents: Todd and Heather (Geiser) Krebsbach, Kelly Kienbaum (Chris Kahr); her siblings: Payton and Gretchen Krebsbach; her grandparents: Steven and Laurie (Arnold) Krebsbach, Brenda (Bob) Johnson, Shelley Olocki, and June Geiser; great-grandma: Mary Schwartz; Aunts and Uncles: Trisha (Matt) Bendig, Joshua Krebsbach, Stacey (Kevin) Sesing, Jake (Jeannette) Kienbaum and Dana (Chris) Eckstrom); Cousins: Theo and Ellie Bendig, Ashton Ruedinger and Christian Kraus, Gabriella, Alivianna, Angelina, Julliette Kienbaum, Henry, Violet and Eloisa Eckstrom; pets: Jack, Porter and her 9 chickens; in addition to numerous other family and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her grandpas: Andy Kienbaum and Thomas Geiser; great grandparents: Louise and Eugene Arnold, Willard Krebsbach, Thomas Schwartz, Willard and Izzy Kienbaum, and Vernon and Janice Vogel.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Courtney’s family on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, WI 53061. Private Family Services will be held.

In Lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Courtney’s name.

The family thanks the first responders, law enforcement and medical personnel who assisted on the scene.

Courtney – There is now a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. You were such an amazing person. Our only hope is that you know how proud we are of you and how much you are loved. Fly high our sweet angel and watch over us always. Love, Dad & Heather, Mom & Chris, Payton, and Gretchen.
