Lucy Bronze could make her 100th senior appearance for England as the Lionesses take on the Czech Republic in a friendly on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old right-back, who made her senior international debut in 2013, previously thought injuries might stop her from reaching the milestone.

"I was told at 20 years old that I wouldn't play past 27," Bronze said.

"I think that's why I never set 100 caps as a goal for England, I just wanted to play as much as possible."

  5. Wales' team news...

    Switzerland v Wales (18:00 BST)

Premier League reaction and Champions League build-up (4)

    Wales

Wales are again without one of their most experience players, Natasha Harding, after she was left out of the play-off squad for personal reasons.

Harding was Wales' joint-top scorer during regular World Cup qualifying.

She featured in Wales' last two group games, against Greece and Slovenia, but was replaced in the starting side against Bosnia-Herzegovina by Fishlock.

Wales' most-capped player was back fit having missed the win in Greece and home draw with Slovenia which clinched her team's place in the play-offs.

With no fresh injury concerns, it would be a surprise should Grainger make changes in Switzerland.

That means OL Reign's Fishlock is again likely to operate in midfield with Ceri Holland and teenager Carrie Jones supporting Kayleigh Green in attack.

While Wales played 120 minutes last Thursday, Switzerland have not played since hammering Moldova 15-0 in September - their all-time record win.

Grainger says Switzerland are a "great side" but believes Wales have proved they thrive on big occasions.

"We have a mentality and belief that we will compete with anybody and we want to make sure we do that on Tuesday night," she said.

  6. Winning is Wales only target...

    Switzerland v Wales (18:00 BST)

    Video content

Gemma Grainger says Wales will focus on securing victory over Switzerland in their World Cup play-off final, rather than chasing a potentially vital two-goal winning margin.

Wales will give themselves hope of clinching a World Cup place on Tuesday night should they triumph by two or more goals in Zurich.

But Wales manager Grainger would be happy merely to keep qualification hopes alive with any victory.

"We are targeting a win," she said.

  8. Get Involved - What next for Villa and Gerrard?

    #bbcfootball

Andrew: There has been zero improvement at Villa since Gerrard took over, we should have stayed with Smith, there was passion and excitement. Gerrard has made things worse... it’s time he went, Villa are a huge club and we need to get back to it

Conte on managing the hefty fixture list: "It is not simple. It is difficult for everybody, to play every three days is a big effort. We have to manage the situation in the best way possible.

"You know you have to rotate, but at the same time you need good results, otherwise there is criticism. Fingers crossed we have all the players available to rotate with good balance. It is important un every game to have a good balance and not lose your identity."

Here's some of what Conte has been saying...

On Kane's form in the Champions League: "I think Harry has started really well this season. We are working to continue to do well and improve. He wants to improve himself. Harry can go to huge levels. He's so important for us.

"He is scoring in the Premier League, we need that in the Champions League. He has to continue to work like he is and every day when I speak with my players, I ask them to push themselves and aspire to make the difference."

Kane on Erling Haaland's form: "I'm not someone who likes to think or talk about other players. He's had a fantastic start to the season, full credit to him, but I can't control that so I'm focussing on what I can control. It has been going well for far in the Premier League, I want to score more goals in the Champions League for sure.

"People are talking about him and rightly so, he's had a fantastic start. But there is a long way to go and I'm concentrating on myself."

Kane on the World Cup in November: "It is going to be strange. I'm putting it to the back of my mind and concentrating on Tottenham. We have a game every three or four days and it'll be strange in terms of our schedule. We are going to be playing, playing, playing, and normally you have a six-week build-up to a major tournament. We are going to have one week to switch our minds on to the biggest tournament in football.

"We do so much preparation here and work so hard for each game for our club, the World Cup isn't something I'm thinking about."

Kane on changes at Tottenham since Antonio Conte arrived: "It has changed a lot. We have really tried to change the mentality of the club, not just the players. I think we've had a good impact on that.

"We still have room to improve in all departments. Antonio is a top coach. We've worked a lot tactically and physically. We are growing into mature players but we have to prove that on the pitch and show it in games like tomorrow when the pressure is on."

Kane on worries about injury ahead of the World Cup: "Whenever you think about injuries, it has the wrong effect. I go into every game looking to give 120% for my team, it is the way football is. Sometimes you can be unfortunate and pick up injuries.

"I do a lot of stuff away from the club to make sure I recover well and put myself in the best physical condition I can to not get injured, In football, anything can happen, but it doesn't change the way I play."

Kane on the magnitude of the match, with Spurs currently second after a draw last week in Germany: "It is at a key stage of the group and is a big game. We've spoken about how important it is to win if we are going to put our stamp on this group. I want to score in every game, and I'll be trying my best to do that and help the team.

"I've ben disappointed not to get on the scoresheet so far. Hopefully, I can turn that around."

  18. Nkunku keeping counsel amid Chelsea speculation

Andre Silva says Christopher Nkunku is keeping his own counsel amid reports that his fellow RB Leipzig forward has agreed to join Chelsea next summer.

France international Nkunku has scored nine goals this season, including four in his last three outings - one of them in last weeks' 3-1 win over Celtic in Champions League Group F.

Asked how his team-mate is handling the speculation, Silva replied: "Chris is not a team-mate who talks so much.

"I think he puts all the work on the pitch during games or in training and he is able to do things that come naturally and make it look easy. Chris is doing good and we hope he continues doing that."

Silva is relishing another big Champions League night in Tuesday's reverse fixture at Celtic Park and the Portuguese said "I showed a little of my power" by scoring twice against the Scottish champions last week and "I hope to show more" in Glasgow.

"We would like to repeat what we did in Leipzig, but we know that it will not be so easy because of the environment here and the fans, but the key is to be better than them and be alert from the first to last minute," he added.
